IU Thanks Her Fans for a 5th Perfect All Kill!

IU revealed what she's been up to lately.

On the 23rd IU uploaded 4 photos onto her official fan cafe along with the words, "How long has it been!"

IU wrote, "Christmas is coming up soon, but since I probably won't be able to leave a message that day, I wanted to leave you all a surprising greeting~" and greeted her fans.

She continued, "Everyone, thank you for showing love for my new song 'Friday.' I'm going to work harder when writing songs. It's a completely different feeling to be loved as a songwriter! It feels like I'm receiving love not only for my singing, but also my thoughts, my emotions, and my feelings. It feels like I'm being loved for all the days leading up to now." IU expressed her thanks for the all kill on music charts after "Friday's" release.

IU added, "Let's not get too excited for the end of the year, but let's calmly make sure we wrap up the year." She then announced her present condition through her 4 photos, which she claimed were the best of the lot.

In the photos, IU posed with a yellow leaf in her hair and made a cute expression with her eyes closed. She also shared another photo she took wearing a thick jacket alongside a snowman. Another photo showed her at the set of the shoot for her 3rd album repackage jacket cover. Despite the cold weather, she was shown wearing sleeveless attire for the shoot.

IU's self-composed and written song "Friday" is also the title song for her repacakge album. It took the number 1 spot on live charts, iTunes Weekly Charts, and took a perfect all-kill on a total of 10 most popular music sites.

She made a similar record in October, when her 3rd album title song "The Red Shoes" took a perfect all kill, a mere 2 months ago. She's achieved the same record with her new repackage album title song "Friday."

It's rare for an artists to consecutively have two perfect all kills. Even in 2010 IU recorded a perfect all kill with her songs "Nagging" and "Good Day." Since her debut, IU's had a total of 5 perfect all kills, with the songs "Nagging," "Good Day," "You and I," "The Red Shoes," and "Friday."

IU's special Christmas 3rd repackage album Modern Times - Epilogue will be released and available for offline sales on the 26th.
