Arizona Cardinals defensive end Darnell Dockett is currently in the midst of controversy for a number of racially insensitive comments he made via Twitter over the weekend.

Dockett, a three-time Pro Bowl selection who his known for his social media foolishness, began his Twitter antics Friday evening when singling out the Chinese community.

"Apple has a new device out for Chinese people. The iOpener," Dockett tweeted Friday night.

Several minutes following the tweet, the NFL star found himself doing what he is best at...being on the defensive without a bit of sympathy.

"I'm so not racist," Dockett tweeted. "But believe what u want," he added.

When one Twitter user predicted that he would issue a "fake" apology the next day by saying, "I am sorry if I offended anyone," Dockett assured that he planned to do no such thing.

"I promise I won't," he wrote.

Then he suggested how amusing it is to get a rise out of people.

"I have learned that pleasing everyone is impossible, but pissing everyone off is easy and fun as hell," Dockett tweeted.

According to Oh No They Didn't, Dockett attracted a lot of heat in the past for sending attack threats to a former Florida State teammate via Twitter for alleging he was gay.

Furthermore he has used the social media outlet to flirt with Katherine Webb, former Miss Alabama and girlfriend of University of Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron.
