Who will give the ultimate performance?

TVXQ and Rain have both proven themselves as one of the strongest performers in the music world, and they will be going head to head on January 6th with their simultaneous comeback.

Fans had already been anticipating their comeback for early next year, and it's been decided that even the date will be exactly the same. Both TVXQ and Rain won't be able to avoid being compared to one another.

TVXQ revealed a teaser for their new song "Something" from a TV commercial. Their performance, which was reminiscent of a puppet performance, raised expectations of their comeback performance to come. Two men wearing dandy attire put on a glamorous performance with female performers using a light up microphone and long pieces of string. The bright retro swing rhythm leaves a strong impression on the listener.

Rain was resolved to show his fans everything that he's got. He chose two different songs as his double title, in hopes of showing two performances of different colors. On December 26th he pre-leased his music video, and displayed extraordinary confidence in his work. According to the album information that was published before, his title song "30 Sexy" will highlight Rain's wide range of vocals. His other title song "La Song" will be of a very unique genre, including hip-hop, old school, electronic, rock, and punk.

TVXQ and Rain's simultaneous comeback early next year is bound to be a hot issue. Previously in 2008 the two had comeback with Rainism and Mirotic, both of which had received a rated R rating in Korea for its racy lyrics.
