Kanye West’s 27-Minute Rant Tackles Grammys, Nike; ‘Yeezus’ Singer To Focus More On The Positives For The Next Six Months?

Kanye West just couldn't resist spreading the holiday cheer with year 2013 winding down as he went on 27-minute rant in his Toronto concert against the Grammys for excluding "Yeezus" as the album of the year.

Instead, Kanye only received two nods for Best Rap Album and Best Rap Song for "New Slaves" after the Grammy's announced the nominations on Friday. The winners will be known in a live telecast to air on Jan. 26.

"The Grammys, they nominated me with two Grammys," the rapper said in a report by RadarOnline.com. "Yeezus, the most highly reviewed album of the motherf-----g year!"

"F--k you ... F--k you for Christmas. I'm gonna wrap this f--k you real tight and deliver it to the Grammys on Christmas night," Kanye's rant continued.

Perhaps Kanye knows what he's talking about  Rolling Stone  magazine ranked Yeezus second on the list of the best albums of 2013 trailing only "Vampire Weekend" by Modern Vampires of the City.

"The music is part Eighties synthblitz dark wave, part Jamaican dancehall. But it's all Kanye, taking you on a guided tour of the dark shit inside his brain," the description explaining the ranking read. "And he ends with the Seventies-soul send-up "Bound 2," maybe the most audacious song he's ever written, not to mention the most beautiful."

However, the always controversial rapper vowed that his 27-minute rant will be his last, at least for the next six months.

"This might be the last time y'all hear me talk shit for a long time," Kanye claimed.

"I'm not [going to] ever bring up Nike again, and the only way I'll bring them up is in a positive light," he added. "I'll never bring up the Grammys again in a negative light, because I actually appreciate the 21 Grammys that I did win."
