Cody Walker Facebook fan page, which has not been marked as official by the social networking site, has apparently confirmed his role in Fast and Furious 7 movie.

This particular announcement, ‘See you soon in f&f 7’ has prompted news websites to report this as official confirmation from the star.

However, the producers of Fast and Furious franchise and the other cast members have no commented on the news. They have neither released a statement confirming that Paul Walker’s Brother Cody Walker will play his part in the latest Fast and Furious movie.

It is noteworthy that ever since Universal Pictures hinted that Paul Walker look alike brother can be a part of the movie, several Cody Walker Facebook fan pages mushroomed overnight, none of them carrying official verification mark.

The fan page in question, which announced the confirmation was created very recently on 16th December, 2013. Many news websites like Guardianlv.com etc have used this info in the ‘About’ section to report that Cody Walker is indeed going to film the remaining role of his late brother.

Last week, Vin Diesel announced the new Fast and Furious 7 release date, which is April 15, 2015. He announced the news on his official Facebook fan page and Universal Pictures confirmed the report shortly, so as to avoid any speculations and confusions.

In a very emotional Facebook post, Vin Diesel added a picture of him and late Paul Walker, along with the lines, “The last scene we filmed together…There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we've come…
Fast and Furious 7 will be released…April 10th 2015! P.s. He'd want you to know first…”

As per Cody Walker playing Brian O’ Connor in Fast and Furious, Paul Walker fans are elated because this would mean that the late actor’s original scenes in the movie will not be removed. However, a confirmation from producers is still awaited.
