U.S. New York Times Chooses BEAST Yoseob as 'Korea's Leading Pop Star'

Group BEAST member Yoseob was chosen by the U.S. New York Times as 'Korea's leading pop star'.

On December 29, the U.S. New York Times released an article titled, 'Heartthrobs Rule the Korean Stage' and revealed an interview of Yoseobs's lead role in the musical 'Yoseob Amazing'.

The article also revealed a video interview which talked about his musical role as well as BEAST as a whole. It also talked about many idol stars who have begun to take roles in the musical industry as well.

They chose Yoseob to be one of Korea's leading stars of being an idol who has turned into a musical actor.

Yoseob stated during the interview, "When I am performing on a K-Pop stage, I am with my members, while on a musical stage, I am alone. Because its just me, it is a bit more demanding and there is more pressure. No matter how popular or famous you are, if you do not have the talent or the skills, it will not last. I work hard very day to improve my skills and to become greater in my field."

New York Times also praised Yoseob for his great musical talent as he moved the audience with his voice and acting.

On the other hand, Yoseob will be busy as the lead vocal of BEAST, a musical actor and as a solo singer.
