Chris Pine Movie With Lindsay Lohan Shows “Star Trek” Actor The Pitfalls Of Hollywood? Continues Fame With Bowl Championship Series Commercials

Chris Pine, better known for his stint in "Star Trek", early on learned the most important lessons on the pitfalls of Hollywood from Lindsay Lohan after doing the 2006 movie "Just My Luck."

In an interview with Hollywood Reporter for the Jan. 10th edition, Pine recalled the time with Lohan as a "real cyclone of insanity, like being around The Beatles."

The "Parent Trap" redhead was at the height of her fame after the successful run of the "Mean Girls" in 2004 and "Herbie: Fully Loaded" in 2005. Lindsay Lohan was commanding a good $7 million per movie at that time.

Chris, meanwhile, only had TV credits to his name during their filming along with a few movie shorts.

"It was fascinating to watch, and in hindsight it's really a distinct moment in someone's life when you see what's really wonderful about what we get to do and what's really dangerous about it," he said.

That's when he saw first-hand how dangerous it is to be swallowed by the hype that is created around a celebrity.

From being one of the sexiest young actresses of her time, Lohan has become a punchline after bouts of alcohol and drugs. Her struggles with the law were fully documented, along with her reportedly diva demands, according to Paul Shraeder, her director for the 2013 movie "The Canyons," who swore never to work with her again.

Chris Pine really established himself as a bankable leading man through the "Star Trek" movies in 2009 and 2013. His fame continues to rise as he will be featured in commercials for the Super Bowl Championship Series. The commercials will also help promote his next movie "Shadow Recruit."

Chris Pine will play CIA agent Jack Ryan, one of the most popular characters created by author Tom Clancy. In playing Ryan, he is following the footsteps of Harrison Ford, Alec Baldwin and Ben Affleck.
