2014 Is Full of Comebacks for January, Who Will Top Music Charts?

It's a new year and there are already numerous new songs that are being released. The best of the best are making comebacks, and the music charts and expected to change with each new comeback.

At the onset of the new year, 3-member rock group MC the Max took the top of the music charts. They released their 7th album Unveiling after a 6 year hiatus, on the 1st of this month. As soon as the album was released, the songs took the top spots on various music charts, including MelOn and Mnet. The most popular songs are "We in the Past," "Night We Shine," "On My Way Home," and their title song "Wind that Blows." Lee Soo's vocals blend well with the rock ballad sound, and are perfect for the cold winter weather.

Group TVXQ recently had their 10-year debut anniversary on December 26th. Their 7th album was released on January 6th. The music video for the title song "Something" was released on the 1st. The song featured swing jazz sound, female dancers, and a witty rope performance. Their music has definitely had an upgrade from their previous sound, and their decade of experience definitely shows in this album.

The sexiness competition among girl groups is hot right now. Girl's Day became better known last year with their song "Female President." On the 3rd they released their 3rd mini album and attempted to get ranked on the music charts. This album was co-produced by Double Sidekick. The group tried to maximize the acoustic sound layered upon hip hop for their new song "Something." Dal Shabet will be releasing a mini-album on the 8th, and feature their title song "B.B.B, (Big Baby Baby)," which was produced by Shinsadong Tiger. Their plan this time around is to show off sexiness without any exposure. Girl group Rainbow will be debuting their 4-member unit group called Rainbow BLAXX at the end of this month. They released some photos on their social networking site channel. The photos look like they've been taken secretly, and the images have been rated 19 and over.

Other singers with great vocal skills will be making their comebacks as well. Jo Kwan Woo recently released a mini album for the first time in 5 years. He released his new song "Maybe You" on the 3rd. He himself wrote and composed the song, which is about the emotions of lovers just starting their romance. It has an easy to follow melody line. Also, Ailee's new song "Singing Got Better" was released on the 6th. The song is a rock ballad song that highlights Ailee's wonderful vocals. It was written and composed by singer Wheesung.
