Pokemon Plus And Minus [RUMOR]: Generation 7 Allegedly For Wii U, Fans Remain Skeptical

Pokemon X and Y have barely been released, and rumors regarding generation 7—allegedly called Plus and Minus—have already begun.

According to the website DualPixels, a leaker released information regarding Pokemon Plus and Minus which carry startling specificity given how early in development generation 7 must be, if at all.

Of course, given that there is no proof of these Pokemon Plus and Minus claims, it is purely a rumor.

Allegedly, Pokemon Plus and Pokemon Minus are codenames for generation 7, but could be final. The battle system will be revamped and simplified, and the new region will be based on Southeast Asia, which could mean many islands.

In addition, the Pokemon Plus and Minus rumors also included claims on the starter and legendary Pokemon.

“Three new starters with no names: Water evolves into Water/Steel and is a squat, teardrop shaped humanoid that has a jar filled with on its head as it evolves it grows taller and the jar bigger until it needs another set of arms to hold it on its head. Fire evolves into Fire/Fairy and is a tiny cute goat with fire blowing out of its horns, its horns and look evolves more menacing until it has curly ram like horns and a motorcycle hot-rod-like look. Grass evolves into a Grass/Electric and starts with a leap for a face with a nubby root as a body and evolves until it grows into an electric producing palm tree with each flower petal having a different face.”

“The main legendary for Pokemon Plus is a Shi Foo Lion-looking Psychic/Ground-type that has multiple faces, the Pokemon Minus legendary is a Ghost/Fairy type that has two dashes for eyes and is a hurricane-like appendages with many arms and hands.”

But that's not all. The Pokemon Plus and Minus rumors also claim that the generation could be seen on the Wii U as opposed to the 3DS!

Fortunately (or unfortunately), nearly every fan and outlet believes these rumors to be fake.

"Don't believe these rumors. I know that it was confirmed fake, but be realistic in that, there's no possible way all that information leaked before even the announcement of the game. Plus, we're only 3 months removed from X and Y. It'll be a while," writes Chicolombia on Pokejungle.

What do you think of these Pokemon rumors? Could they in any way true?
