TVXQ ‘Something’ Line Performance Is Awesome

TVXQ had a lively comeback with their 7th album Tense and its new title song "Something." Their 'line' performance for the show is all the talk right now.

This title song "Something" is a modern configuration of the swing jazz genre. The light music and TVXQ's dynamic performance work together to create a stage that is almost like seeing a musical. It's been getting great reactions from the fans.

Especially to note is there 'string plucking' instrument playing, their makeshift boxing ring made with the rope, the rope mic stand, and their marionette doll recreations. Their 'line performance' involves using rope as a prop for their performance. Because of the great difficulty of the choreography, TVXQ members put in an exceptional effort to showcase a perfect stage.

The rhythmical step dance, powerful solo dance, and dynamic choreography were performed in perfect harmony with a fantastic ensemble of dancers. Going far above and beyond the average choreography, TVXQ's "Something" really stands out, and truly comes alive when the members take the center stage. It's no wonder that TVXQ is known as the performance leader group in Korea.

The extraordinary choreography for "Something" is the work of world renowned choreographer Tony Testa. The choreographer had previously worked with TVXQ for "Catch Me," and knew exactly how to maximize TVXQ's charm on the stage. SM's performance director Hwang Sang Hoon also contributed to the song with his expertise.

TVXQ will be performing "Something" and its line dance on various music programs, including on Mnet's "M Countdown" on the 9th, KBS 2TV's "Music Bank" on the 10th, and MBC's "Show! Music Core" on the 12th.
