Paris Jackson's Hawaii vacation over the Christmas holidays seemed to have done more harm than good as she reportedly told her guardian, 83-year-old Katherine Jackson, that she's ditching the boarding school for troubled teenagers.

Radar Online quoted an insider who said: "Paris enjoyed spending time with her brothers in Hawaii for Christmas. It was the first time she had been allowed to leave the boarding school since last summer."

The source added: "The freedom that Paris experienced in Hawaii was intoxicating."

The report said that the 15-year-old Paris has been rebelling against her grandmother since returning to the Calabasas mansion because her grandmother doesn't want her ditching the boarding school as her therapy is not yet completed.

Paris Jackson was given permission to join the family vacation in Hawaii for Christmas. She joined Prince Michael, 16, Blanket, 11, a few cousins and her biological mother Debbie Rowe. After losing contact, Paris and her mother reportedly resumed their connection following Michael Jackson's death.

Paris was admitted to the private school, which commands fees of up to $14,000 per month, following her suicide attempt in June following her father's death. She reportedly slashed her wrist and downed some pills.

Paris Jackson's Hawaii vacation was her first reported family outing since admission in the boarding school.

But Radar reported that Paris is already out of rehab and is just finishing her "regimented checkups."

Her rebellion, notwithstanding, Katherine is putting her foot down since Michael Jackson's eldest daughter will definitely be not ditching school and be back in the Utah boarding school to finish her program.

"There is a lot of support that Paris gets there and Katherine recognises that. There is no question, Paris will be going back to Utah this weekend," the source said, adding that Katherine was even mad that Paris was able to get access to a mobile phone and posted a lot of photos on her Instagram account.
