Group Big Bang is leading the K-Pop movement in various places has visited Taiwan for the first time. Their visit was part of promotion of their album ‘Alive.’

Even before the visit in Taiwan the group was able to sweep the top spot of various Taiwan music charts following the big hit the album has made in Korea and all over the world.

As their first visit made its way to fans the group drew a large crowd of 1,200 ardent fans from early in morning although Big Bang’s arrival was scheduled for the evening of April 9 at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.

The following day the group held their first press conference in Taiwan and first even as a K-Pop artist. There were 100 lucky fans that were randomly selected to attend the press conference. Also Taiwanese fans prepared a surprise birthday party for Daesung during the press conference, although his birthday isn’t until April 26.

Big Bang is now in preparation to continue their Asia tour beginning in Japan.
