Miley Cyrus 'Wrecking Ball' music video was banned from French daytime TV. The French moral police also banned Britney Spears' 'Work B*tch" video from the daytime hours. Miley Cyrus says Wrecking Ball, which was written about her breakup with Liam Hemsworth, shoudn't be controversial. Miley was naked because she was "mad."

Back in August, Miley Cyrus explained that the nudity in her "Wrecking Ball" video wasn't just a case of bearing flesh to sell records. Cyrus said 'I think the video is much more, if people get past the point that I'm naked and you actually look at me. You can tell that I actually look more broken than even the song sounds."

Miley Cyrus explained "The song is a pop ballad. It's one of these songs that everyone is gonna to relate to, everyone's felt that feeling at some point."

Miley Cyrus "Wrecking Ball" was banned in France. It seems the video was a little too sexy for French TV.  Britney Spears' new video joined the Miley Cyrus "Wrecking Ball" music video in the ban. The French have historically complained that Americans are too uptight about sex, but they do like Jerry Lewis.

After learning that some channels were showing Miley Cyrus Wrecking Ball in the daytime without any parental guidance warnings , France's broadcast watchdog says the country won't air Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus music videos won't air before 10pm because they are too sexy for French television. France's broadcast watchdog told television channels they should no longer play Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus videos on daytime TV.

In  a statement, France's broadcast watchdog CSA, said Milry Cyrus' video for "Wrecking Ball" and Britney Spears' video "Work B**tch" won't be shown until after 10pm, when French broadcasters relax their standards and offer programming more suited to adults.

The CSA announced that Miley Cyrus's Wrecking Ball was too sexy while Britney Spears' video shows the pop princess in S&M accoutrements, which depicts "a sadomachistic universe representing women in a way that risks shocking many viewers."
