SHINee’s ‘Sherlock’ Tops March Album Sales, 135,000 Copies Sold

Group SHINee has set the record for most album sales in March.

According to statistics released by Gaon Chart SHINee’s fourth mini-album ‘Sherlock’ released on March 19 sold 135,370 copies in the month of March.

Title song ‘Sherlock’ topped the weekly download chart for 5 weeks and digital chart, various music charts as well.

Group CNBLUE followed behind releasing their third mini-album ‘Ear Fun’ on March 26 recorded 59,944 copies and ranked second of monthly album sales. Especially the title song ‘Hey You’ is staying strong as it topped weekly digital and download chart.

Third place went to group Big Bang. The group that grabbed first place in February with fifth mini-album ‘ALIVE’ recorded 45,421 copies this month the group recorded total sales of 257,431 copies.

Fourth place went to group B1A4’s first full-length album ‘THE B1A4 –IGNITION’ they sold 43,513 copies.

Other album includes Shinhwa’s full-length 10th album ‘The Return’ recording 32,500 copies sold ranking fifth place.
