Robin Wright has bagged the Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress in a Drama for her performance in House of Cards, the first award that the Netflix show gets from such award giving body.

Wright beat out Julianna Margulies of The Good Wife, Taylor Schilling of Orange Is The New Black, Tatiana Maslany of Orphan Black and Kerry Washington of Scandal for the award.

In House of Cards, the 47-year old actress plays the role of Claire Underwood, the scheming wife of Frank Underwood (played by Kevin Spacey). She has her own way of manipulating people to get what she wants. She is sometimes rebellious and most of the times a martyr to give way for his husband's ambitions.

Wright didn't expect anything when she attended the awards night which took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California on January 12. In fact, she was at the stage for at least 20 seconds and told the audience that she didn't prepare a speech.

"Completely unexpected, I have no speech. Merritt Wever said at the Emmys, 'Thank you. I gotta go.' And I feel like I want to go talk to her right now and maybe she's in the back." she said while holding the trophy.

"I'm shocked right now. Don't know what's going on exactly. It's so new. We're still talking about where, when, how. And I couldn't be happier."

"Thank you to the Hollywood Foreign Press," she added. "You guys are a gaggle of characters, I gotta say."

Wardrobe Malfunction

While her victory deserves more attention, it is actually her 'slight' wardrobe malfunction that trended in social media.

"Robin Wright ALSO wins for best wardrobe malfunction!" costume designer Luke Reichle said in his tweet.

While accepting her award, Wright's side boob flashed to the audience. However, Wright wasn't aware that it was happening. She continued her speech and said.
