JYP Rookie GOT7, Gives an AMAZING Showcase Performance

JYP Entertainment debuted a new boy group for the first time in 6 years, and their debut stage was outstanding, to say the least. They're expected to be explosively popular thanks to their new martial arts tricking style.

On January 15 GOT7 held their debut showcase at an open warehouse in Daelim, Seoul, where they put on an extraordinary performance unlike anything that's been seen before. They entered the showcase with their good-looking faces, and put on a visually unique performance.

GOT7 incorporates martial arts tricking into their choreography that resembles martial arts. There's not a moment that's dull in their performance, and it's difficult to take your eyes away from the scene. They perform kicks and mid-air turns, and showcased b-boying mixed with martial arts. It definitely sets them apart from other groups.

Not only that, GOT7 has members who have professionally learned b-boying and martial arts tricking. They surprised those gathers at the scene with their free and seemingly effort-less martial arts tricking in time with the music. It was jaw-dropping to watch these members fly through the air in their performance, which was reminiscent of a martial arts show.

One JYP rep stated, "The reason why we chose martial arts tricking is because of the members' style, the song's character, and the group's desire to try something new. These 3 qualities came together to create a great performance using martial arts tricking."

On top of their unique choreography, the members shone their individual charms as well. JB and Junior, who had previously worked in JJ Project, immersed themselves into the showcase without any nervousness. The other members radiated their own charms and showed off their talents as well.

Leader JB shared, "I'm really nervous. Please look kindly on us. We will become artists that keep growing and improving. We'll grow continuously, so please show us lots of love and support."

GOT7 performed "Girls Girls Girls," "Follow Me," and "I Like You" to introduce their new genre of martial arts tricking. Not only did they perform dance moves that looked like stunts, they showcased their steady vocal skills as well.

The 7 members of GOT7 are of different nationalities. Even before their debut they have been receiving love calls from many famous record companies overseas. They are currently planning to enter the international market as well.

GOT7 will be releasing their debut album Got It on the 20th, and have their first debut stage on the 16th through Mnet's "M Countdown."
