Music Bank Highlight: TVXQ Wins # 1 on the January 17, 2014 Episode + Performance Recap

'Music Bank' is back this week for another round of great performances from some of your favorite K-Pop stars! Screams, fan chants, along with great stage setting, are all seen as well heard last night.

Last night's comebacks were the boys of JYP, GOT7 by them singing, "Girls Girls Girls", AOA put on their "Miniskirts", Royal Pirates were "Drawing The Line", Rumble Fish sang "The Virulent Song", Topp Dogg said, "Open The Door", BEAT WIN sang "She's My Girl", the guys of B1A4 were "Lonely", and Wax returned by singing, "Coin Laundry."

Nominees for the night were queen Ailee and king TVXQ. The winner for last night was TVXQ for their song, "Something!" Congratulations to the duo!!

With all these being said, let's dive into the performance recaps.

Performance Recap and Videos

AOA came out by wearing their "Miniskirt." Is the skirt they're wearing really mini? I mean if you see US and Japan's mini skirt, that is really mini. Overall, they are rookies though. So they are still learning how to be sexy. What is your perspective on the skirt, will you consider it really a mini skirt? It still feels long to me.  Maybe the zipper is the highlight of the skirt?

The boys of GOT7 made a little adjustment compared to their 'M Countdown' performance last night. They performed, "Girls Girls Girls" and brought their flips on-stage. Anybody here watch the guys of Quest Crew? I think they imitated one of their flips; which is at the beginning. Also, ever wonder if Mark gets tired of doing flips on-stage? He will do it for two more music shows. Girls, are you in-love with GOT7?

Royal Pirates were "Drawing The Line" last night by rocking it. Great to see a Korean-American rock group; being diverse is good and brings great music. What do you think of the guys? They are not that bad, right?

Rumble Fish sang "The Virulent Song." Her song is really a disease that will just get to you; truly great as she is able to produce such a good song. Are you getting the disease by Rumble Fish?

Topp Dogg, it has been a long time since fans had to wait for your return. So, "Open The Door" and step into Topp Dogg's world. Numerous dance steps and energy were brought last night. Seeing the performance from them already twice, what are your opinions regarding their return? Would you like to walk inside their door by being a fan of them?

BEAT WIN said, "She's My Girl" by coming out with their energy and great choreography. This guys really do need to gain some more exposure as they are good. Not enough screaming for them yet; so support them. They can be the next U-KISS probably. Agree or not? What male group can they compete with?

The guys of B1A4 are back! What an awesome return by them singing both of their songs, "About Time" and "Lonely." CNU looks different with his glasses off. Choreography is great by the necktie being taken on and off; makes you wonder if they were going to throw it to the audience. Looks like B1A4 will have a great song to be nominated for a trophy on the music shows; let's see if next week they will win. With their numerous fan support, it will not be a surprise if they do win. What do you think about B1A4's comeback last night?

Wax made her return by singing, "Coin Laundry." Love the magician trick of the guy appearing and disappearing. Last night was her comeback; what do you think regarding her song? Like or unlike? She has a great voice as well. Perfect for a ballad style song like this one.

The king of K-Pop Rain performed "La Song." Once again, he owned the stage last night by wanting to hear, "La La La" by the audience. Wardrobe was okay; t-shirt by seeing his buffed body and muscled shoulders. In a way, he is like Michael Jackson through his solo choreography; which is what also Michael did. Entertainment is what Rain does which the audience love.

Guys of K-Much are all "Good To Go" by having a short performance. You should know that they are in the same agency as Crayon Pop; hence why the music is alike in-terms of beat. So overall, what is your opinion about them? If your a fan of K-Much, good. If not, tell your reasons. Hopefully, they can compose an even better song in the coming months.

Queen Ailee's "Singing Got Better" as she once again proved it last night. Ailee stated on news media that she will turn her life around by forgetting what occurred last year; she is doing a fabulous job. She is getting numerous fans again as her devoted fans are loving the new Ailee. Hopefully, there will be no more scandals again later down the road for this year.

Dal Shabet wore burgundy last night for their performance on "B.B.B. (Big Baby Baby)." The fast rapping is never one to miss; catchy and one to truly learn to do. The wardrobe is unique just by style. Side of the shirt exposing a little skin and tight pants. Might be a fashion style that you might see other people wear soon.

Girl's Day performed "Something" by no one feeling dizzy or fainting. Hyeri seemed okay last night; though she should really get some rest as the camera person was always checking on her. Hopefully, she can hang on; as they have two more shows to perform before she as well the rest of the girls can rest. Fighting! Fan chants were phenomenal as always.

Wassup are "Nom Nom Nom" by bringing their hip-hop music last night. Definitely, it is time for the ladies to compose another new song. Keep the hip-hop; though with a little bit American flare to it. Maybe, collaborate with some American hip-hop artists' to get some tips. The girls has it, just need to get a few more rough areas polished. Then they will have a great song.

TVXQ, Kim Jong Seo, and Kim Kyung Rok performed last night; which all kept the audience entertained!! Yang Ji Won also performed as well by singing, "Ayaya." He mixed tradition and modern; great song.
