ToppDogg Shows Off The Strength Of A 13-Member Group At Their First Overseas Fan Meeting In Singapore, Reveals They Might Be Performing In Units!

Korean rookie boy group ToppDogg, who debuted last October under Stardom Entertainment, held their first time ever overseas fan meeting in Singapore on January 12. The fan meeting was held at Queenstown CC Auditorium and many fans arrived early so to secure a good spot as it was free seating. The moment the boys came on stage at around 2:25pm, loud screams of their names and cheers can be heard from the audience. Comprising of 13 members, the boys started off the showcase with a powerful performance of their debut title, "Say It!"

Immediately after their opening performance, they introduced themselves. They tried to connect to ToppKlass (ToppDogg's fans) by speaking in a few languages. Yano, Kidoh, Gohn and Sangdo introduced themselves in English and Seogoong introduced himself in Chinese, while the others did theirs in Korean. Following the introduction, the emcee asked the boys what they feel about ToppKlass in Singapore. Leader P-Goon expressed his appreciation towards their fans' enthusiasm, "It's so good to receive so much love from so far away where I come from. So thank you so much for coming down here and supporting us. Thank you so much!"  When asked on what they like about Singapore, B-Joo commented, "Singapore is definitely a very clean country. The weather is definitely welcoming and warm after coming from very cold weather in Korea." On the local food they tried,  Kidoh exclaimed he likes "Chilli Crab!" which had fans all screaming as it is one popular must-try dish in Singapore.

After the short Q&A session, the other members left the stage, leaving Kidoh on the stage. He did a solo performance of "Girl Like You". After Kidoh's performance, the other members were back once again on the stage for their first game session.

The boys were divided into two groups, according to their dorm arrangements- Dorm A and Dorm B. Four lucky fans were chosen from the audience to play the game "Charades" with them.  Questions like "Girls Generation", "Rhinoceros", "Heavy Metal", "Mermaid", "EXO", "Hiccups", "Crab" were given. It was indeed a hilarious moment seeing the boys and the fans act out the questions. It brought lots of laughter for ToppDogg and ToppKlass. All acted very well and Dorm A won. The four lucky fans each won an autographed ToppDogg album.

The boys then took a short break while "Say It" music video was played on the screen. Immediately after the music video, ToppDogg was back for the second game session, which was to shake off the Post-It notes. Xero and B-Joo demonstrated how to play the game and again resulted in lots of laughter from the audience. This time two lucky fans were chosen from the audience and both fans got to choose their opponent from ToppDogg. Kidoh and Yano represented ToppDogg in this game. Both the boys and the fans did their best to outwit each other by pasting the Post-It at places on their opponent's body where they thought were difficult to shake off. In the attempt to remove the Post-It, Kidoh even lay down and rubbed his body on the floor. In this game, Kidoh won. Unfortunately Yano lost in his game against the fan.

After the second game session, the boys went back stage to prepare for their next performance. A video showing their childhood photos, footages from their trainee days and "Cigarette" music video were played. Following which, Xero, B-Joo, Hansol and Hojoon did an awesome dance performance. They each did a dance solo before they performed a group dance. They are indeed the dance machine of the group. Their dance segment made all ToppKlass scream and go crazy.

Another highlight of the showcase was a groovy performance of "Cigarette". This was the first time ToppDogg performed "Cigarette" live and they won many cheers from the audience. Before their final performance, the boys had another Q&A session. P-Goon shared the advantages and disadvantages of being in such a big group, "One of the good thing will be we can show a lot of dynamics in our performances and music. I think it's good that you can see a lot of aspects of our music. One of the bad thing is whenever we eat, if we go anywhere, it takes quite a bit of time. So that will be one of the bad things." Kidoh added, "One of the good thing is we never get bored. But probably one of the disadvantages is we never get bored." This made ToppKlass all go "Ahhhhh..."

P-Goon also revealed there will be a second mini album coming out on 16 January and they probably might be performing in units, so he asked ToppKlass for their continued support. Kidoh and Yano garnered screams from excited fans when Kidoh expressed his wish to film a CF in Singapore, while Yano wanted to release a solo album in Singapore too.

The boys continued to perform the final song "Cute Girl" where they gave lots of fan services ToppKlass. They returned the love and support from their fans with heart signs and flying kisses. Some even came down the stage to get even nearer to ToppKlass and took selcas using their fans' mobile phone. Reluctant to see fan meeting end, fans shouted for encores. ToppDogg came back on stage shortly after hearing the encores and ended the show with "Say It".

Throughout the 2 ½ hour fan meeting, we can see the boys bring out their best performances as they interacted and posed for ToppKlass. These boys may be rookie but they sure know how to charm the audience with their friendly and adorable fan services. Shortly after the fan meeting, ToppDogg had a high touch session with all the fans, followed by a fan sign and photo taking session.
