Dennis Rodman Puts Himself To Rehab For Alcohol Abuse, The Player’s Agent Confirmed

Retired NBA player Dennis Rodman made headlines during the past weeks for his trip to North Korea and outburst in a CNN interview. The Worm has already apologized for his actions but aside from that, he shows he is truly committed on his repentance as he checked himself in to a rehabilitation center for alcohol abuse.

The five-time NBA champion's agent, Darren Prince, has confirmed rumors about Rodman's rehab plans but didn't give the name of the facility place where he is staying. After that tumultuous event involving CNNA and American prisoner in North Korea, Kenneth Bae, Prince said that Rodman has suffered emotionally and turned to drinking to get by.

"What was potentially a historic and monumental event turned into a nightmare for everyone concerned," Prince said as reported by the USA Today.

"Dennis Rodman came back from North Korea in pretty rough shape emotionally. The pressure that was put on him to be a combination 'super human' political figure and 'fixer' got the better of him. He is embarrassed, saddened and remorseful for the anger and hurt his words have caused."

On January 06, Dennis Rodman's interview with CNN's Chris Coumo turned ugly as he had an outburst regarding the pressure he's getting for visiting Kim Jong-Un who sentenced an American to forced labor.

"Do you understand what he did in this country? No, no, no, you tell me, you tell me. Why is he held captive here in this country, why?"

With these comments, Bae's family felt sad and disappointed with the former Chicago Bulls whom they think could have helped regarding the issue.

Rodman has already offered an apology for his TV rant saying he was just stressed and drunk at that time.

"I want to first apologize to Kenneth Bae's family," Rodman, 52, said Thursday in a statement released by his publicist Jules Feiler. "I want to apologize to my teammates and my management team. I also want to apologize to Chris Cuomo."
