TVXQ Drew 165,000 People in Tokyo Dome For 3 Days!

TVXQ has successfully concluded their 3 day live performances at Tokyo Dome today. One concert at Tokyo Dome draws in about 55,000 bringing the total to be about 165,000 for 3 days. It’s been about 11 years since a foreign artist held a three consecutive day performances at Tokyo Dome, TVXQ is the third group following the late Michael Jackson (1988), and Backstreet Boys (2001).

This being Yunho’s second Tokyo Dome performance in 3 years shared about the surprise event from fans on the 2nd day thinking this is Tokyo Dome and it’s been a goal to perform at Tokyo Dome since his debut.

Tokyo Dome is part of Japan nationwide tour ‘TVXQ Live Tour 2012: Tone’ that kicked off in January at Yokohama. Last month the group concluded the arena performance at Saitama Super Arena for 3 days. TVXQ’s largest-ever tour will be concluded following Tokyo Dome performance on April 14-16 and Kyocera Dome on April 21-23.

TVXQ proved their popularity as the additional Tokyo Dome concert ticket that was released on April 1 were all sold out with 30 seconds. The 3 day performances have many guests that include BoA, After School’s Kahi, K-Pop artist senior, as well as from Japanese entertainment industry as well.

Fans formed a ‘red ocean’ waving their red glow sticks during the live performances and duo became one with their fans during the last 3 days. The red ocean wave is to continue on to this weekend at Kyocera Dome.

The photo on the top shows TVXQ’s well-known ‘red ocean’ in Tokyo Dome and bottom photo shows the fans surprise event changing the glow sticks to white forming a ‘white ocean’ on the 2nd day of the performance.
