Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett Jazz Album ‘Cheek To Cheek’ Release Date In September 2014: ‘ARTPOP’ Comes To China, With Censoring

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett's jazz album, "Cheek To Cheek," has a release date in September 2014, a new report reveals. Meanwhile, Lady Gaga's latest album "ARTPOP" finally comes to China, but only after heavy censoring of the album art.

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett's jazz album had an original release date on January 1, 2014, but Bennett revealed in an interview with CNN that "Cheek To Cheek" wouldn't drop until late 2014, ArtistDirect.com reports.

The album is expected to release September 2014, The Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Tony Bennett has been enamored with Lady Gaga for some time, and has "long raved about the flamboyant pop superstar's musical gifts during previous musical and TV collaborations," ArtistDirect.com reports.

Lady Gaga and Bennett have previously collaborated on the single "The Lady is a Tramp" on his "Duets II" album. At the time he called her "the Picasso of the entertainment world," the website adds.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga's recent album "ARTPOP" has been removed from a Chinese government blacklist, and is now allowed to go on sale legally in China, CNN reports. But not without heavy censoring.

The album art of "ARTPOP" features a large ball between Lady Gaga's legs; the Chinese censored version makes the ball bigger, covering more of the naked singer's body and adds a pair of black tights to her bare legs.

Chinese officials also changed one song title, editing "Sexxx Dreams" to "X Dreams," CNN reports.

The original "ARTPOP" album cover was designed by the American artist Jeff Koons.
