Rain's "La Song" Gaining 2nd Steam - Becoming a "National Song"?

Rain's "La Song" is enjoying a second round of popularity. Various parody videos, including a recorder version, is becoming popular everywhere UCC (User Created Content) is distributed.

The sudden popularity of "La Song" is hinting at it becoming a "national hit song" like Wonder Girls "Tell Me" or EXO's "Growl".

It's even showing on the online charts. His songs are in the top ten in all the major charts, including MelOn, Mnet, Cyworld, Daum Music, and Soribada.

It began when one of Rain's anti-fan created a video criticizing Rain's singing technique, saying that it's old and sounds like Tae Jin Ah, a Korean singer who is almost 40 years Rain's elder.

Rain took the idea and asked Tae Jin Ah to take the stage with him for his final performances before he devotes his time to filming for Hollywood movie The Prince with John Cusack and Bruce Willis. The result was a resounding success. His fans labeled it "THE collaboration stage of this decade."

Rain spoke on it, saying, "What began as a small 'going away' present to my fans have snowballed into a huge success. I want to thank the person who originally created it, regardless of their intent. It was a lot of fun."

Tae Jin Ah chimed in, saying, "I might want to remake the song for my audiences. That's how good this song is."

Many "La Song" related UCC has surfaced online, and as long as the trend continues, it seems as though "La Song" is here to stay.
