Jinju Releases OST ‘It Hurts and Hurts’!

Singer Jinju's first OST in 12 years, titled "It Hurts and Hurts," was revealed on January 29th.

Jinju sang her last OST in 2002 for the movie Africa. She released another OST after a 12 year hiatus for MBC's "Hold My Hand." The song "It Hurts and Hurts" was released on the 29th across various online music sites.

"Hold My Hand" is a drama about one woman's revenge and love. The song Jinju sings is in the main character Han Yeon Soo (Park Shi Eun)'s point of view. The main character loses her mother, husband, and son, and lives in darkness. The song is main title song that expresses the lead character's painful heartache, and her determination to overcome those scars.

Previously Jinju released songs such as "I Will Survive," which she sang with her powerful vocals and delicate emotions. This time she's done it again with her charismatic voice, which stirs up in emotions for listeners.

The song was written and composed by Yoon Hoo, who also composed Dia Tree's "Bad Guy" and "Hold the Phone." Music producer Extra Symphony session band Silent Duval arranged and took part in the session.

A rep from the OST publisher stated, "Jinju had a successful 2013 with her album activities, and is looking forward to the release of a new album in the spring."
