The queen bees of the music industry are coming back.

The Lunar New Year holiday kicked off the comebacks for many of the most anticipated girl groups. Brown Eyed Girls member Gain entered the scene with her solo album. Sexy singer Sunmi followed suit. Hallyu group Girls' Generation is busy preparing for their first new album in 1 year.

Gain Releases 3rd Mini Album on the 6th

Gain spent her Lunar New Year holiday preparing for her 3rd mini album Truth or Dare release and her comeback on the 6th. She already released her song "Fxxx U" on January 28th, and fans are excited to see what other songs she has in store for them.

Her upcoming album has a total of 6 tracks. Lee Min Soo and Kim Ina helped write and compose Gain's new album. Previously they had worked with other great artists, including Lee Hyori for Black & White, as well as JYP Entertainment's lead producer Park Jin Young, and Gain's hit song "Bloom."

The title song "Truth or Dare" is a funky pop genre, and is about rumors that can be detrimental to a celebrity. The music video is said to feature Yoon Jong Shin, Brown Eyed Girls, IU, Huh Ji Woong, and even Taiwan top star Na Ji Sang.

"24 Hours" Sunmi, Looking for Another Hit Song

Sunmi is also busy preparing for her mid-February album release and comeback. Last August her digital single "24 Hours" was a huge hit, and this will be her comeback after a 6 month hiatus.

Sunmi will be coming back with a song produced by Park Jin Young, and plans to present an exceptional performance and more matured music, all so she can rank at the top of charts again. Her hit "24 Hours" helped Sunmi show her talent as a solo female artist, and there's much anticipation as to whether she'll continue to prove her worth as a leading female artist.

The new album is expected to have 5-6 new songs. It's Sunmi's first time coming out with an album, and not just a digital single. Rumor also has it that one of the songs might be written by Wonder Girls member Yenny.

Last year Yenny wrote on Wonder Girls' official fan cafe, "I'm thinking about immersing myself into working on songs" and "One of the songs on Sunmi's upcoming album will be mine. It's a song I worked on with composer Lee Woo Min. It's a song that will work well with Sunmi's powerful voice."

Girls' Generation Pours Heart and Soul Into Music Video

Girls' Generation is included in the lineup for SM Entertainment artist comebacks, following TVXQ, who released their 6th album Tense in commemoration of their 10 year anniversary.

Girls' Generation stated, "Details haven't been confirmed about the new album or release date." They continued, "However it is true that we're busy working towards a February comeback."

Girls' Generation's last album I Got a Boy was released 1 year ago. They usually release a full length album every year, but this year they're planning for a mini album. It's been said that just like with their other title songs, the title song of their upcoming album is a collaborative work of many different famous composers.

Their last song "I Got a Boy" received a YouTube music video award. Rumor has it that they put their heart and soul into the upcoming music video as well. Girls' Generation are supposedly reshooting the music video from last year because the performance was improved. The members are currently busy finalizing their album and title song music video.
