As SBS ‘K-Pop Star’ winner has been announced as Park Ji Min. Music fans are excited to find out which label between SM Entertainment, JYP Entertainment and YG Entertainment she will select.

SBS ‘K-Pop Star’ held the final live competition on April 29 the winner was announced to be Park Ji Min. Yang Hyun Suk congratulated Park Ji Min sharing, “The result always seems to have missed our expectations on the show. We congratulate you on winning the finals overcoming the difficult process.” Continuing on he encouraged Lee Ha Yi who placed second, “Lee Ha Yi you are number one in my mind.”

The two finalists held a fierce breath taking performances with a neck and neck score. The winner was decided by internet and text message votes.

Final episode of ‘K-Pop Star’ included a special performance by judges BoA and Park Jin Young. BoA performed ‘One Dream’ alongside Lee Jung Mi, Baek Ah Yeon, Yoon Hyun Sang, and Park Jae Hyung. Meantime Park Jin Young revealed his new song ‘You’re the One’ and performed ‘She Was Pretty,’ ‘Don’t Leave Me’ along with Lee Michelle, Kim Na Yoon, Lee Seung Hoon, and Baek Ji Woong.

SBS ‘K-Pop Star’ made headlines even before production as it was to include leading artist from top labels SM-YG-JYP as judges. It has been decided that the three judges will also be participating in season 2 that will begin airing this winter.
