Aaron Hernandez Murder Case Star Witness Dropped By Prosecution; Man Allegedly Shot By Former New England Patriots Tight End Gunned Again!

An update on the Aaron Henandez murder case revealed that the prosecution's case against the former New England Patriots tight end  took a huge blow after dropping a star witness who flip-flopped on his earlier sworn statement that linked the former football star to the murder of Odin Lloyd.

The prosecution filed documents on Friday stating that Carlos Ortiz, 27, is now "completely unreliable" after changing his tune, MailOnline reported.

In his affidavit, Carlos Ortiz claimed that he was in the car with Aaron Hernandez before Odin Llyod was killed. He also tagged Ernest Wallace as being at the scene when the victim was shot five times, although he claimed that he didn't exactly see who shot Odin Lloyd since he was asleep in the car and was just roused by gunbursts.

However, according to the prosecution's documents, Carlos Ortiz is now claiming that Aaron Hernandez was alone with Lloyd outside the car, said MailOnline.

Both Carlos Ortiz and Ernest Wallace have pleaded not guilty to the charges of accessory after the fact. Aaron Hernandez also pleaded not guilty to the murder of Lloyd, a semi-professional football player who was dating the sister of his girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins.

Meanwhile, in a strange development, Alexander Bradley, who accused Aaron Hernandez of shooting him in the face, was again shot outside of Vevo Lounge Bar & Grill in Hartford, Connecticut, AP reported.

The 31-year-old sustained gunshot wounds on the right thigh but tried to get his gun from his car and retaliate by opening fire at the nightclub. He tried to escape but was stopped by responding police officers.

Alexander Bradley was then taken to the hospital under strict guard.

As reported by FirstCoastNews.com, the tight end's counsels formally filed Aaron Hernandez response to the federal lawsuit which accused him of shooting Alexander Bailey, 30, during a bar quarrel.

The victim, who claimed to have lost his vision as a result, was asking for $100,000 in damages.

Aaron Hernandez earlier petitioned a Miami judge to postpone the proceedings until judgment on his pending murder charge is rendered.
