Rain Vs Soyou On Music Charts

Rain and Soyou released their new songs on the same day at the same hour, and the battle for music chart top spots has begun.

On February 7th Rain released his 6th album Rain Effect Special Edition repackage album. He's been in the spotlight for "La Song," and is determined to show a different side to him through his ballad title song "I Love You." Global fans are in great anticipation to see how well this new album will do.

"I Love You" was written and composed by Rain himself. The song starts off with a magnificent string sound as the background music to go along with the words "I love you." It's a song that details a man's narrative about being in love, perfect to keep the listener warm during the cold winter.

SISTAR's Soyou relelased her duet song with Junggigo, titled "Some."

A producing dream team participated in this project, including Kim Do Hoon, Min Yun Jae, and Johnny Bros. "Some" is a medium tempo duet song that offers a harmony of Jungggigo's soulful voice and Seoyou's romantic vocals that will make your heart pound in your chest.

Rain's "I Love You and Soyou-Junggigo's "Some" are hoping to overthrow the Frozen OST "Let It Go," which has been dominating the music charts as of late.

As of the morning of the 7th, "Let It Go," was number 1 on Korea's music sites MelOn, Olleh Music, Cyworld Music, and Genie. Huh Gak's SBS drama "You Who Came from the Stars" OST "Tears Fallin' Like Today" was number 1 on Mnet, Bugs, Soribada, and Monkey3.
