Dal Shabet's Subin Shared About Hurtful Comments Regarding Her Accent

Sometimes negative comments are really hurtful to accept especially when they didn't even know you at all. On February 7th, Dal Shabet's Subin shared about some misunderstandings that were truly hurtful to her on Kim Shin Young's MBC radio program.

DJ Kim Shin Young got the chance to asked Subin, "Have you ever gone through a hard time because of misunderstandings while promoting?"

Subin shared, "Even while I was living in Gwangju, I had a severe accent because I was raised by my grandmother. However, when I saw messages on the internet, some said, 'People in Gwangju don't even talk like that. It's overkill,' which was hurtful. There were also cases of negativity when I spoke in a Jealla-do accent, so...

Subin added, "Also, truthfully, I fixed my accent in the middle. Even then, TV shows would ask me to speak in my accent, so there was some mental confusion for me."
