RAINBOW's Jae Kyung Shared She Almost Became a Member of K-Pop Girl Group KARA

Another revelation from a K-Pop idol, this time its RAINBOW's Jae Kyung who shared that she's almost became a member of KARA.On KBS 2TV "Full House" broadcast on November 7th, RAINBOW's Jae Kyung made her interview and shared that she almost became one of KARA's member. Curious about what happen why she landed on RAINBOW?

Jae Kyung shared, "When I first became a trainee of my management agency 10 years ago, I almost became a member of KARA. However, my agency told me that I don't fit with a cute concept, and they started planning a new group."

She continued saying, "When I was about to get tired with my life as a trainee, KARA went through a member replacement. Then, my agency asked me if I wanted to become a replacement, but I refused it, because I thought I would be better with RAINBOW members."

Jae Kyung also explain, "I guess nobody knew about this before, but I got a call from SM Entertainment as well, and I refused their offer. Two months later, Girls' Generation made an official debut."

The MC of the show also asked her if she felt envious about KARA, Jae Kyung said, "I actually envied when KARA became so successful in Japan."
