The popularity of hallyu actress Park Shin Hye gets even bigger as she reach over 5 million followers on Weibo; for those who don't know it is the Chinese version of Twitter.

On February 7 at 9 AM Korean Time, Park Shin Hye's Weibo account reaches about 5,406,667 followers. Her roles in various hit dramas such as "You're Beautiful", "Fabulous Boys", and "The Heirs", made her popularity widespread from fans even overseas.

It was the first for a Korean actress to earn 5 million followers considering "The Heirs" hasn't been broadcast in China. It has been said that it will continue to increase as days go by.

According to one of the representative of Park Shin Hye's agency, S.A.L.T. Entertainment, "We are thankful to all the fans in China. We believe Park Shin Hye's effort to connect directly with fans through various SNS sites is reaching fans domestically and internationally."

Park Shin Hye was also the first Korean actress to conduct an Asian tour last year and also recognized as "Popular Foreign Actress Award" at the Chinese Anhui TV Drama Awards.

On her latest news, Park Shin Hye is now preparing for her new role on upcoming movie project, "The Consultant", which co-stars Han Suk Gyu, Go Soo, and Yoo Yeon Suk
