Seattle Seahawks K.J. Wright Takes A Jab On Denver Broncos One Week After Beating Them In Super Bowl; What He Said Might Be True

The Super Bowl XLVIII championship between the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos was held on February 3, with the NFC West champs on the winning side, 43-8. For the Broncos and their legions of fans, it is something they would want to erase out of their memories as soon as possible. The team was abused in New Jersey has become the butt of joke in many conversation. For the Seahawks, that sports event is something they would cherish forever as they won the trophy in a very convincing fashion.

One week after, the Seahawks are still celebrating. However, one player is doing it in a way that no Broncos fans would approve. Linebacker K. J. Wright talked to Pro Football Talk in a television interview and said that he has no problem if there's a rematch against the Broncos. When asked if the Seahaws will beat their Super Bowl opponents again, he said with a lot of confidence on his face:

"Probably 90 -- I'd probably go 90 out of 100."

"They might've got lucky those other 10 times. They're a good football team, but you know the way we play, our style of play most teams just can't match up with it. We are really good at what we do, we run the ball really well, we stop the run, and we just out hit guys, so you know most teams just can't match up with our style of play."

Wright might be right with his deductions, given the way they demolished Boncos during their last meetings. The 24-year old player out of Mississippi State proved why Denver Broncos will have a hard time beating them. He recorded seven tackles to help his team win the trophy. His team lorded over the Peyton Manning-lead team all throughout.

"The first play of the game, when they snapped the ball over their head, I was like, 'All right, man. We got these boys,'" Wright said. "If you start the game off like that, something's not right.

"When that happened, I was like, 'All right man, I got my nerves calmed down.' And I was like, 'OK, I believe we got this one.'"
