Devious Maids Season 2 Spoilers: Who's Saying Hello And Who's Saying Goodbye?; Producer Says Somebody Has To Go To Keep Show 'Fresh'

"Devious Maids" Season 2 is just around the corner and executive producer Marc Cherry offered nuggets about some characters saying goodbye and some saying hello when the show returns for the April 20, 2014 premiere.

Marc Cherry said during the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour that Marisol (Ana Ortiz) will definitely be returning.

"I knew before I even started the first season that, in the second season, Marisol marries a rich man, and she has a devious maid working for her. She becomes one of the employers."

In last season's conclusion of "Devious Maids," Rosie was arrested by immigration agents while Zoila and Valentina had a falling out.

In season 2, a wave of crimes hits Beverly Hills which will have repercussions on residents, Marisol meanwhile will have a new lover but he's not what he seems. Valentina will be working with a new employer while Carmen is thrust into the spotlight after snagging a pop star for a fiancé, Deadline reported.

"Devious Maids" also concluded with Marisol ending her mission to clear her son's name from Flora's murder.

Marc Cherry also told Buddy TV that some characters will "say goodbye" to the series.

"I had to say good-bye to some people I just loved. But, you know, to keep the show fresh and to make sure I'm providing these terrific gals with obstacles and new story lines," he said. "That's the kind of thing you have to do. So you'll see some new faces and we'll say good-bye to some other faces."

TV Guide also surmised that both Michael and Taylor Stappord, played by Brett Cullen and Brianna Brown, might transition out of the show since Marisol is marrying a rich guy and leaving behind her previous life as maid.

Tricia O'Kelley ("The New Adventures of Old Christine") and Mark Deklin ("Lone Star") will join season 2 of Lifetime's "Devious Maids."

According to Deadline.com, Tricia O'Kelly will play Tanya who was described only as a local Beverly Hills resident. While there's no back story to her character, the website claimed that her role will be recurring season-long for "Devious Maids,"

Mark Deklin, meanwhile, will play Nicholas who was described by Deadline.com as a "handsome, charming, well-educated and wealthy Beverly Hills businessman/philanthropist with many secrets."

His first wife died for still unknown reasons, which will slowly be revealed as "Devious Maids" season 2 progresses.
