CNBLUE Featured as 'Headliner' for February by Mnet America

CNBLUE has been one of the most hard working bands Korea has unleased since their debut in 2010. Just four years later, CNBLUE has made history by completing a first ever World Tour that has never before been attempted by a Korean band, earned countless awards for their musical capabilities and album sales, and have even won awards for their acting abilities. CNBLUE started 2014 with the premiere of their Japan exclusive movie, 'Never Stop', celebrated a fourth anniversary from their debut, and successfully completed the American leg of their 'BLUE MOON' World Tour with two concerts in NYC & LA and three more in Mexico, Peru and Chile, all with the month of January.

The band has been designated the title of 'Headliner' for February 2014 by Mnet America, appearing in a special program by the network of the same name. 'Headliner' puts focus on the band in the early days of their career, shedding light on some of the issues and controversies CNBLUE had to face in the early part of their career as well as their current activities all through the point of view of some of the industries noted media journalists including Billboard Magazine's Jeff Benjamin and Timothy Jones for YRB magazine as well as Kpopstarz' own contributing writer, Adrianne Stanley. I, being founder of CNBLUE USA and U.S Rep. for CNBLUESTORM, had the privilege and the utmost honor to have been included on this special program being featured as BOICE Worldwide representative. Here is a synopsis provided by Mnet, "Mnet America's 'Headliner' is a monthly biography series on the most high-profile Kpop stars in the music industry such as PSY, G-DRAGON, BIG BANG, 2NE1, GIRLS GENERATION and more. This is the never-before-told life story of today's hottest artists that gives a behind-the-scenes glance into their trials and tribulations. Follow them on their rolling road to success, fame and ultimate glory." The twenty minute special will air throughout the month of February 2014, check your local cable channel lineup for show dates and times.

CNBLUE is currently preparing for a Korean comeback and promotional tour after being on hiatus for over a year of focusing on other projects in Japan. Their new album 'Can't Stop' will feature songs self written and composed by the band's Lee Jonghyun and Jung Yonghwa, whom is also being credited as producer for the first time on a CNBLUE album. Mnet America is slated to broadcast yet another special on the band, their documentary styled series 'Go!' will feature footage from the last leg of CNBLUE's 'BLUE MOON' concert tour as well as some other behind the scenes, never before seen clips. 'GO! CNBLUE' will air on February 24th, 2014 at 9PM local time.
