Why CNBLUE May Have The Most Successful February Comeback
While Korean entertainment headlines have been dominated by news surrounding the comebacks of 2NE1 and Girls' Generation, CNBLUE has been saturating the media with information regarding Can't Stop. FNC Entertainment's CNBLUE is set to make their comeback with their fifth mini album Can't Stop. CNBLUE were heavily involved in the composition of Can't Stop, with Jung Yonghwa self-composing the title track. While CL has been involved in the production and development of 2NE1's comeback album, CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa, Lee Jong Hyun, Kang Min Hyuk, and Lee Jung Shin have immersed themselves into the creation of their upcoming release.
The second teaser for 'Can't Stop' is visually arresting and draws excitement for the video release.
Jung Yong Hwa is responsible for the lyrics of five out of six of the songs from Can't Stop with Lee Jonghyun also contributing as a lyricist.
CNBLUE will make their return to the United States on April 12th as part of a Los Angeles K-Pop festival organized by KBS America, in which includes SHINee and 2PM. In addition to excitement surrounding their music, audiences are excited to see how CNBLUE has incorporated aspects of their 2013 BLUE MOON World Tour into Can't Stop. FNC has revealed the album cover, which features CNBLUE in New York City on the Brooklyn Bridge and also a nighttime shot of the group in Times Square. In conjunction with their album release on February 24th, Mnet America will present Go! CNBLUE. Go! CNBLUE will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the group during their tour in the United States.
As attention remains focused on the impending girl group comebacks, CNBLUE has topped charts for album pre-sales, which will guarantee their success beyond the release of their single. Limited teasers have been released for both 2NE1 and Girls' Generation's impending comebacks, placing more an emphasis on the perceived rivalry than the actual music. As true musicians, CNBLUE has not only incorporated their comeback concept into their upcoming release, but have maintained a focus on the actual music.
