Eminem, Rap God, and Rihanna, Good Girl Gone Bad, Hot Off Duet on New Album and Monster Video, What’s Next? RiRi and Slim Shady To Tour (Video)

Eminem and Rihanna collaborated on the new album and the "Monster" music video. Now the Rap God and the Caribbean Princess are hitting the road.

Eminem told XXL Magazine, "There are some shows coming up with Rihanna. It's a three-city tour: New York, L.A., and Detroit.

Eminem took to Twitter on Friday to announce the new, tweeting "NYC/DET/LA this August with @Rihanna! #TheMonsterTour."

In November, Eminem and Rihanna filmed the music video for "The Monster" in Detroit. Rihanna hypnotized Eminem as his therapist, forcing the rap god to watches a video called "The Eminem Show" that played his struggles with violence, family and addiction.

Now that "The Monster" topped the charts as the new single from The Marshall Mathers LP 2, Eminem and Rihanna are heading on tour together. The Monster Tour stadium tour will kick off this summer. Eminem and Rihanna's "The Monster," was the pair's second No. 1 hit, following "Love the Way You Lie" in 2010.

Eminem and Rihanna plan stops in New York, Los Angeles and Detroit.

In November, Eminem told MTV News' Sway Calloway "I thought it would be a good idea to have her on ['Monster'] because I think people look at us like we're both a little nuts. That's one of the things that I was telling her in making the record: I think that people look at us a little crazy. As soon as I got the beat I just heard her on it. I wanted to make sure that I had it finished first to be able to present to her, but once I had the rhymes done, I sent it to her."

The Detroit August date of the Eminem/Rihanna tour will mark Eminem's first hometown concert since he played back-to-back nights at Comerica Park in 2010 with Jay Z. Rihanna hasn't played Detroit since March 2013, when she played Joe Louis Arena.

Eminem is currently in Australia for his ongoing "Rapture" tour with Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole.

Eminem released "MMLP2" last August. It topped Billboard 200 for two weeks.

Rihanna finished her 'Diamonds' world tour last year in support of her first No 1 album on Billboard 200,
"Unapologetic."
