Hyolyn and Huh Gak Tops the Charts This Week; While B.A.P is Quickly Rising

Billboard featured an article regarding the top stars who are number one as well ones that are quickly climbing. Reigning at the top for the "third week" is once again SISTAR's Hyolyn for her song, "Goodbye."

"Goodbye" is for the hit drama, "Man From Another Star" OST; with a mega hit show, Hyolyn could possibly be number one again next week. If this occurs, she will be up there with her other member, Soyou for her song "Stupid in Love" as well SISTAR19 on "Gone Not Around Any Longer" as they were ranked number one for four straight weeks.

Ranking number two is another OST for the drama which is Huh Guk. "Tears Like Today" is a beautiful song that features scenes from "Man From Another Star." Meanwhile, "My Destiny" from Lyn fell to number six.

Hyolyn's member Soyou is ranked number three for her duet with Jung Gi Go on "Some." "Some" tells about the excitement one feels when a person is in-love; hence why it is at the top due to Valentine's Day and beautiful melody as well beat to it. Ga-in's "Fxxk U" song is blocked in Korea, though it still manages to be ranked at the top by being number five. Her other single, "Truth or Dare" follows one number behind by being number seven.

Finally, B.A.P is quickly rising as they ranked number twenty-one for "1004 (Angel)." Though their album ranks number one for "Billboard's World Albums Chart."

Stars Who are Rising and at the Top This Week

Popdust featured an article regarding which of your stars rank at the podium and ones that are quickly climbing. The article explained that SISTAR's Soyou is ranked number one this week for her single, "Some." With this single from her, do not be surprised if she remains number one next week.

The other stars who are ranked this week are SM The Ballad by being ranked number three for their song, "Breath." Their other song, "A Day Without You" is ranked number eight and "Set Me Free" is at number eighteen. Ga-In's single, "Truth or Dare" is out of the top ten by being ranked number eleven. Her other single, "Fxxk U" ranks number thirteen. The angels of AOA for their song, "Miniskirt" ranks number fourteen.

The beautiful ladies of Girl's Day ranks sixteen for their song, "Something." "Something" has truly been a fabulous single from them and is still ranking at the top on the charts in various music charts in South Korea.

Fabulous vocalist Spica ranks number twenty-one for their single, "You Don't Love Me." B.A.P's "1004 (Angel)" is twenty-three.

Rainbow Blaxx's single, "Cha Cha" is ranked thirty-seven which has been ranked for awhile. Though the ladies are done promoting this song, "Cha Cha" looks like it is not going away. Ladies' Code has a history of "longevity"; so do not be surprised if their new single, "So Wonderful" stays on the chart for awhile.

Stellar has made their return with a sexy concept which is "Marionette." They rank number forty-two as well number one in-terms of "the Social Chart." Their music video is also receiving numerous attention by having "over 2 million views in its first week." Though the ladies received criticisms, Stellar modified their wardrobes as well choreography; which is now looking pretty good for them.

K-Pop is Going to the United States and their Destination is Los Angeles

Billboard featured an article regarding some of your favorite K-Pop idols going to Los Angeles on April 12, 2014. Reason is because of a festival that is going to occur which the name will be "Open Concert (L.A. K-Pop Festival." The event will be free and the location of the venue will be Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The band that are expected to attend are male group 2PM, SHINee, SISTAR, Girl's Day, CNBLUE, and Dynamic Duo. There will also be soloists which will Kim Tae Woo, Sul Woondo, and Song Sohee. There could be more that might attend; so we will provide you information as the date gets closer.

This event is being made possible thanks to "KBS America and the Los Angeles Korean Association." This event is to "celebrate the 111th anniversary of Koreans immigrating to America."

SISTAR's Soyou Tops Number One This Week by Bumping her Fellow Member Hyolyn

Last week, it was SISTAR's Hyolyn who was number one for her song, "Goodbye." Billboard featured this week regarding a swap of SISTAR's by Soyou being at the top for the week. Her beautiful duet with Jung Gi Go for "Some" tells about how couples gets butterflies before going on a first date.

The producer for this awesome music is Kim Do Han as well Min Yeon Jae who also composed "Stupid in Love."

Just below Soyou is Sung Si Kyung for "Every Moment Of You" which is from the OST "Man From Another Star."

This ballad which was composed by Sung, tells about Jeon Ji Hyun and Kim Soo Hyun's love story on the drama.

Hyolyn's "Goodbye" song for the drama, "Man From Another Star," is ranked number three this week. Her other song, "Let It Go" is ranked number five for the motion picture, "Frozen."

SM The Ballad who are SHINee's Jonghyun and Girls' Generation's Taeyeon, are ranked number six for their song, "Breath." "Breath" shows both idols "powerful" vocals which has grown over the years. "Breath" is a great song that weaves "classic elements" such as strings and "piano melodies" which makes the song soft on the ears.

Ladies' Code are now ranked number eighteen for their "So Wonderful" song. Will they be ranked on the top ten next week? Fans will just have to see.

What Happened This Week in K-Pop

Classicalite news media featured an article on what happened this week on K-Pop. The article explained about G-Dragon and how he made it on the front cover for "the Rhapsody Issue of "HYPEBEAST." The reason on why G-D was chosen is because "The rising influence of G-Dragon encapsulates the current state of affairs in popular culture and the South Korean pop star epitomizes the synonymity that fashion and music share. For this reason, G-Dragon, a.k.a. Kwon Ji-Yong, stands as the face of the cover feature - an in-depth look at the synergy between his music and fashion, the interesting partnership that he has with his stylist and what the future holds for the talented artist."

The article also explained about Girls' Generation for their new music video "Mr.Mr" through clips. Super Junior member Henry Lau is going to be on the episode of "Real Men." Korea Star Daily reported, "In the upcoming February 23rd episode of MBC TV Real Men, Super Junior-M's Henry, K.Will, and Park Geon Hyeong are seen beginning their official stint in the army after concluding their basic training as recruits."

Along with Girls' Generation being on the news, 2NE1 is also a huge factor due to their brand new "full-length album" that is going to be released. "Crush" is the name of their brand new album as it is going to be released on February 26, 2014. This is going to be a very "special day" because it is CL's birthday. 2NE1 and Girls' Generation, it is going to be a fierce competition as this two female groups battle it out. Are you excited for this two groups to make their return already?
