Richard Sherman Rant Interview Got ‘One Person’ Offended, He Wrote An Official Complaint; FCC Likens Infamous Sherman Breakdown To Beyonce And Miley

When Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks had a breakdown during his team's NFC championship win vs. the San Francisco 49ers, the nation was surprised and definitely entertained. In his interview with Erin Andrews, Sherman ranted about how people should not talk about him. He also took a jab on 49ers' Michael Crabtree.

"Hey, you don't try the best corner in the league in the clutch, especially with no mediocre receiver like Crabtree. He's weak!"

However, the opposite happened. He became the talk of the nation. Some say he's arrogant, some hurled racist comments, while other used him as a laughing stock. One month after that infamous Richard Sherman Rant Interview, the 25-year old player still get to the nerves of one person from Arkansas. That person felt like he was insulted by the interview, so he filed a complaint to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

The news was first picked up by Deadspin which wrote:

A FOIA request of complaints to the FCC about Fox's broadcast of the NFC title game turned up five. Three were about commercials jacking up the volume, one was about a lack of closed captioning, but one viewer, from Doddrige, Ark., had this to say:

"I was offended [sic] by the language used in the 1st post game interview of Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks."

If you find this one odd, well continue reading. The FCC said this is not the first time that a viewer filed a complaint against what he/she saw on TV.

Last year, the commission also received complaints about Miley Cyrus' 'twerking' VMA performance. Beyonce also got multiple complaints over her Super Bowl half time performance. Comments ranged from: "Beyoncé is a "slut." She "gyrated her pelvis," "humping the air for 13 minutes." She "dressed like a stripper" dancing in "erotica fashion." Her "breasts protruded out, her butt almost completely showed." She "showed her vaginal area to all the world." Some people had very different reactions to the Super Bowl than the rest of us."
