The Wanted Breakup Won’t Stop Group From Grabbing Nickelodeon Fave UK Band Honors; Nathan Sykes Prepares Solo Career With New Compositions?

The Wanted's breakup will not stop the group from being included in the Nicklelodeon's Kid's Choice Awards at the USC's Galen Center on March 29 as one of UK's favorite bands even as band member Nathan Sykes works on his new compositions perhaps for his solo album.

The Wanted though breaking up will join Little Mix, One Direction and Union J-all alumni of X Factor-will slug it out in the orange carpet as UK's favorite band, entertainmentwise.com said. Actor Mark Walhberg will host this year's event.

One Direction will also be defending the distinction as the International Favorite Music Group as the boy band will go against One Republic, Maroon 5 and Mackemore & Ryan Lewis.

Despite reports of The Wanted breakup hitting the news and how it got nasty in recent weeks, band member Nathan Sykes is already on Twitter trying to drum up interest for voters to put the group's name in the ballot.

"Has everyone got their tickets to see us on tour yet?! https://www.thewantedmusic.com/gigs annnnd voted for us at the #KCA #VoteTheWantedUK ☺️❤️
