Speculations about Minecraft PS4 release date continues to surface online.

Citing a report from Gamer Headlines, Examiner posted that Minecraft PS4 release date could possibly happen in several months. Specifically, the post noted that Minecraft PS4 release date could be set for the 2^nd quarter of 2014. This means that the game might be available at some point from April 1 to June 30.

Previously, rumors suggest that 4j Studios might schedule Minecraft PS4 release date in summer but until now, the company has not yet announced a more specific launch date or timeframe for either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version of the game.

Aside from the Minecraft PS4 release date, the upcoming PlayStation 4 version of the game is expected to be equipped with new and upgraded features that will show off the next-gen console's capacity, although, as posted on Gamer Headlines, 4J Studios "do not plan to change the game as much, because as the common saying goes "If it isn't broken, don't fix it.""

However the Minecraft PS4 version will have better textures than the original game, much like the Xbox 360 version does. When it comes to gameplay players will still be able to enjoy both single and multiplayer survival mode. Those who choose to survive will be challenged by different creatures at night, while mining the much needed resources in order to create armors, castles, theme parks and basically everything that comes to mind.

The post on Gamer Headlines also mentioned that Minecraft PS4 will have better textures compared to the original version of the game. Furthermore, it is also believed that 4J Studios is working on enhancing the controls for the Minecraft PS4, which as speculations suggest, would enable a "more freeing experience similar to the mouse and keyboard controls from the PC version," Examiner reported.

Minecraft PS4 will also feature both the single and multiplayer survival mode of the game.
