JYP Entertainment's New Girl Group: More Energetic and Ambitious Than Wonder Girls and miss A

By Staff Writer | February 28, 2014 04:02 AM EST

JYP Entertainment is preparing to debut a new six-member girl group.

The new group was planned to debut next month, but the date is subject to change. The group is JYP Entertainment's new playing card in the midst of SM Entertainment and YG Entertainment's February girl group battle.

JYP Entertainment's new girls group, with the majority of its members in their teens, is projected to radiate with an energetic charm, much like their seniors Wonder Girls and miss A.

To target global fans, foreign members are also included - a Chinese-Australian member is said to be a part of the group.

Lena, who was featured in Sunmi's new song "Full Moon", is also a rapper in the group.

Although their exact debut date has not been finalized, JYP Entertainment's new girl group is expected to be a new breath of fresh air in the flourishing girl group market.
