TVXQ Yunho Named Ambassador Of 'Korea Food For The Hungry International'

It is no secret that Korean entertainers take charity very seriously. K-Pop is littered with do-gooders devoted to making the world a better place.

Whether it is collecting donations of rice at their concerts, giving away large portions of their income to charities, or helping to raise awareness of important global problems through ambassadorships and volunteering, K-Pop idols and their fans have big hearts.

In his latest act of generosity, TVXQ member Yunho has been named one of the ambassadors for the Korea Food for the Hungry International organization.

In a ceremony on March 3, Yunho will officially accept the position as one of the charity's spokesmen. Along with 24 others ambassadors, Yunho will meet with children from across the globe who suffer from poverty and illness as a result of hunger and its associated problems.

Yunho and the others will work in conjunction with the KFHI to help spread awareness of the worldwide hunger epidemic to help find positive solutions to bring the starving people of the world out of their desolate situations.

Yunho previously came across the KFHI while working in Ghana for the KBS 1TV program Hope Road. As part of the television special, the K-Pop superstar worked to help build an education center to further the education of the impoverished youth in the ailing country.

Through his future work with the Korea Food for the Hungry International organization, Yunho hopes to not only spread awareness of the very serious issue that plagues millions around the world each year, but to help raise money and support for individuals struggling to survive as a result of hunger and poverty.
