Will Yoochun Win Another Award With "Three Days"?

Every time JYJ's Yoochun takes a role, he wins an award. Will the streak continue with SBS's "Three Days"?

"Three Days" is the drama that will take the time slot that "You Who Came from the Stars" left vacant after its finale. It will follow a bodyguard who is trying to find and protect the President after he goes missing on day. Yoochun will play bodyguard Han Tae Kyung. As an actor who gives award worthy performances on every drama that he appears in, many are wondering if this role will bring him yet another award.

Yoochun debut as Lee Seon Joon on KBS's "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" in 2010 and received the "Best New Actor", "Netizen", and the "Best Couple" awards at the 2010 KBS Drama Awards. He also won the "Best New Actor" and the "Most Popular Actor" awards at the 47th Paeksang Arts Awards and the "People's Choice" and "Outstanding Korean Actor" awards at the 6th Seoul International Drama Awards.

In 2011, Yoochun was cast as Song Yoo Hyun on MBC's "Miss Ripley" and received the "Best Newcomer" award at the 2011 MBC Drama Awards as well as a "Most Popular Male Actor" award at the 48th Paeksang Arts Awards.

In 2012, Yoonchun played Lee Gak on SBS's "Rooftop Prince". He received 7 awards -  "People's Choice" and "Outstanding Korean Actor" awards at the 7th Seoul International Drama Awards, "Best Male Actor" award at the 2012 German Remarkable Korean Awards, "Excellent Actor", "Top 10 Star", "Best Couple", and "Netizen Popularity" awards at the 2012 SBS Drama awards.

Most recently, Yoochun received awards for his role in MBC's "Missing You", taking home the "Excellent Actor" award at the 2012 SBS Drama awards and the "Most Popular Male Actor" award at the 49th Paeksang Arts Awards.

"Three Days" producers are of the opinion that Yoochun will receive another award for this drama. One producer commented, "He is able to act so many different types of characters. There is a kind of excellence to Yoochun's acting, whether he's a policeman, a prince, or a bodyguard. His role on 'Three Days' as a bodyguard will add a new dimension to his acting by requiring him to participate in high-tension action scenes. I have no doubt in my mind that this role will bring him another award."

"Three Days" was produced by a "dream team" of writer Kim Eun Hee and director Shin Kyung Soo. It will begin to air on March 5th.
