Need For Speed Movie's Kid Cudi Says He Is A Fan Of Co-Star Aaron Paul's Breaking Bad; Find Out What He Got On Their First Meeting

American hip-hop artist Kid Cudi has been appearing in many comedy TV series. He guested in One Tree Hill as himself,  How to Make It in America,  indie romantic comedy titled Two Night Stand, and  The Cleveland Show, voicing a character named Devon.

The 30-year old singer has stepped up his acting skills. This time in a movie wherein he will co-star alongside one of the most iconic actors in television, Aaron Paul who played Jesse Pinkman in the mega successful Breaking Bad. The two will be seen on the upcoming action movie Need for Speed which will hit the big screen on March 14. Paul plays the lead role, Tobey Marshall,  a blue-collar mechanic who is framed for a federal crime he never committed while the rapper will play as his best friend.

Breaking Bad is so phenomenal and Cudi wasn't spared from its brilliance. The rapper/producer said that he is a self-confessed fan of the ABC series.

"I had watched the first and second season of Breaking Bad before filming. I didn't know much about it, but I did research on everybody before working with them on set. I like to do that because you want to be aware of what your co-stars have done," Cudi tol Entertainment Weekly.

"But after watching, I wanted to get updates about the final season since he literally had wrapped the last scene on Breaking Bad and went straight to the set of Need for Speed. I had so many questions I wanted to ask, but didn't."

Cudi was excited to meet one of the casts of the show, Paul. When he did, he asked for something from Pinkman, something he says is way more precious than the Breaking Bad actor's signature.

"No, we shared many hugs. A lifetime of Aaron's hugs is better than any autograph," the rapper said.

To some extent, Cudi said that he felt like the dame in Need for Speed and Paul is his leading man.

"I think Aaron being the leading man in this movie is really what makes it. We all had our parts to play, but his was the most difficult and it was a tough job. You know, on top of his performance being amazing, he's an awesome and down to earth dude. He's really caring and supportive - I fell in love with him the first night we met."
