TVXQ Becomes First Foreign Artist To Sell 200,000 Copies Of Japan Albums 3 Times In A Row In The First Week

Group TVXQ sold over 200,000 copies of their new Japan album, TREE, making this their third time selling over 200,000 copies of an album.

Today, Oricon revealed that their new album, TREE, sold 225,000 copies in the first week. This is their third Japan album that they have released that has sold over 200,000 copies in the first week.

Previously in 2011, their album, TONE, sold 205,000 copies and their album, TIME, sold 244,000 copies in the first week of its release.

They are the first foreign group to do this in Japan. This is the first time in 13 years and 10 months that a foreign artists has done this. The last artist to do so was Bon Jovi in 1995 and 2000.

Their album, TREE, features 14 tracks, including their song, "Something", "I Love You", Tree" and more.

On the other hand, they have released their 7th repackage album and is busy with their "Spellbound" promotions.
