Idols To Bloom In April; New Wave Of Group Comebacks

2014 started off with girl group sexy wars, moved onto boy group's power wars, and finally to Korea's best girl group's head-on battle. March looks to be a lively competition between unit groups, and it looks as if April will bring idol group blossoms.

INFINITE, A Pink, T-ARA Revealed Comebacks

INFINITE recently announced their April comeback at a World Tour Encore Concert. At the time of the concert, they showed their comeback teaser on the big screen, and raised expectations of the fans. The reddish screen highlighted the group's dynamic and intense charm. In the video, the 7 members showed off their charismatic masculinity.

SHINee's Key and INFINITE's Woohyun formed the unit group Toheart. Woohyun shared, "We are planning for INFINITE's April comeback. I will be working on INFINITE's new album project while doing Toheart activities."

A Pink also informed of an April comeback. They're one of the unique girl groups to still maintain an innocent concept since their debut. How will they appeal to the public with their next comeback?

One agency rep stated, "They're currently in the final steps of preparing for their album. The new song concept is, as always, one of purity. They will come out with a concept that matches the color white. A Pink will present their best performance."

T-ARA's Jiyeon and Hyomin will be announcing their first ever solo albums since their debut. Jiyeon worked with hit maker Duble Sidekick, and Hyomin worked with Brave Brothers. The two T-ARA members will be coming out with individual solo albums for their debut.

According to their agency, "For Jiyeon and Hyomin's solo albums, each will be using different composers, music video directors, choreography, stylist, and even management systems. They will meet with different staff to come up with completely different styles. We haven't yet decided whether they will have their solo debuts simultaneously in mid-April, or whether they will come out in relay style. We will move forward in the direction that will yield better results."

Crayon Pop and 2PM Veiled Comebacks

Crayon Pop was in the center of many controversies last year, and they will be coming out with a new album this April. It's been made known that they've already finished recording, but currently have not revealed the concept. Until now the group has been noted for their unique image and performance, so fans are focused on their upcoming comeback.

Just as they planned, Crayon Pop members will take off their helmets and show their faces. However, they plan to keep their fresh and lively images.

2PM has also joined the April comeback lineup. It's been reported that they've already started song production. The title music video work is under way. It looks as if the time coordination is still being worked out.

However, 2PM's agency stated, "It is true that they're currently working on the songs. However, their comeback timing has not yet been determined."

Before these April comebacks, the music market is expected to be buzzing with Girls' Generation, 2NE1, CNBLUE, Woohyun and Key's unit group Toheart, 4MINUTE, Orange Caramel, and MBLAQ's music.
