Girls' Generation and T-ARA proved their continuously growing popularity in Japan.

According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan announced Girls’ Generation reached a double platinum status for downloaded for mobile phone and PC downloads with their single ‘Mr. Taxi.’

The single was released in Japan in April of last year has been downloaded more than 500,000 times which allowed the group to earn a double platinum certification.

T-ARA also received gold certificate in PC downloads chart with their Japan debut song ‘Bo Peep Bo Beep,’ released in October of last year. It has also ranked #1 on Oricon daily chart and weekly chart following its release and sold 100,000 copies.
