It has been confirmed that this year's MAMA will be held on December 3 in Hong Kong.

CJ E&M stated that this year the 'MAMA' awards would be held again and revealed that it would be held in Hong Kong again.

This year marks the 6th MAMA awards and is one of the top Asia music festivals to be held.

Last year's MAMA awards invited many top stars around the world including Stevie Wonder, Ylvis and more with fans from 95 countries attending the festival.

K-Pop and the hallyu has been able to spread around Asia and the world through this festival and has been held in Hong Kong since 2012.

Many look forward to see who will be attending this year's 'MAMA' festival.

The Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) is one oft he major K-pop music awarding ceremonies held annually by CJ E&M Music and Live, involving the participation of some of the most well-known actors and idols. As one of the most important events in the South Korean music industry, it has been attended by many popular and most successful K-pop singers such as Lee Hyori, 2NE1, 2PM, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Big Bang, Girls' Generation, Brown Eyed Girls, IU, INFINITE, EXO, Beast, SHINee, among others.

The Awards begain in 1999, and was hosted in South Korea until 2010, when for the first time it was hosted outside of South Korea, in Macao. Since then, the awards ceremonies took place in Singapore and Hong Kong. 

Past winners of the Awards include Epik High, TVXQ, G-Dragon, 2NE1, Super Junior, EXO, Wonder Girls, Miss A, Psy, among others.
