Ever since joining the cast of The Real Man, SM Entertainment artist Henry Lau has gained a lot of attention for his lack of army knowledge. But on the most recent episode of the show, Henry proved his intelligence by solving a math problem within seconds. The rest of the cast had been stumped, but when Henry walked in he knew the answer almost immediately.

Henry has a reputation for being smart, primarily due to his proficiency in several languages, but he's not the only Korean entertainer who is smarter than fans may guess.

A few years ago, Epik High's Tablo was famously involved in a scandal where netizens demanded to know whether or not he had graduated from Stanford University. Tablo did indeed graduate from Stanford with a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Master's Degree in Creative Writing. What makes this even more impressive is the fact that Tablo completed the two degrees in under four years, while a Bachelor's Degree on it's own usually takes four years.

U-KISS's AJ is currently enrolled at Columbia University in New York City, which is an Ivy League university. He's pursuing a Psychology Degree, and spending one semester in school and the other as a member of U-KISS. During U-KISS's recent US tour, Good Morning America compared AJ to Hannah Montana, living the life of a K-Pop star half the year and as a college student the other half.

Tablo's a Korean hip-hop artist and Henry and AJ are idols, but one of Korea's top actors also is noted for his intelligence. Song Joong Ki, the star of A Werewolf Boy and The Innocent Man attended Sungkyunkwan University, one of Korea's most prestigious and oldest universities. He had received 380 out of 400 points on Korea's National College Entrance Exam, enabling him to get into a top school. Song Joong Ki returned to his university as a Joseon Dynasty student in Sungkyunkwan Scandal.

While there are several male Korean celebrities who are known for being incredibly smart, the only Korean female celebrity who is publicly known for her intelligence is the actress Kim Tae Hee. She attended Seoul National University, one of the top three schools in Korea known as SKY schools, where she completed a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design.
