SoyouXJunggigo 'Some' Ranks Number 1 For 4 Weeks On U.S. Billboard K-Pop 'HOT 100' Chart

SISTAR member Soyou and singer Junggigo's song, "Some," has ranked on the U.S. Billboard K-pop 'HOT 100' chart for 4 weeks in a row and has made a new record for 2014.

On March 17, U.S. Billboard K-Pop column 'K-TOWN', revealed that SoyouXJunggigo's song was number 1 on the charts for 4 weeks and spotlighted their popularity and success.

Billboard stated that this duo has created a new record for 2014.

What's interesting is that this duo beat the record of SISTAR Hyorin's song which stayed at number 1 for 3 weeks in a row. Seeing that they are both from the same group also gained much attention.

SISTAR first appeared on the 'HOT 100' chart in 2012 and has continued to stay high on the chart every year.

Soyou and Junggigo also shot a couple's photo shoot recently.

With their popular duet song, "Some," they did a photo shoot under the theme of "Together All Day." This photo shoot was for "Ceci", and the photos showed Soyou and Junggigo lying together on bed looking at each other. Soyou especially showed off her bodyline through short pants and white shirt.

Junggigo also recently mentioned a marriage rumor about himself. He said, "The rumor about my marraige is just humanly too much."

He also recently appeared in a TV program and talked about how he became a singer. He told a story about how he went to a studio not knowing there was a recording session, and happened to record eight measures. He continued to sing, but did not think he was going to be a professional singer. He was even majoring in animation, thinking that it was going to be his field of work.
