Adam Levine's fiancée Behati Prinsloo believed that People's "Sexiest Man Alive" honor for Maroon 5 frontman was a "mistake." Will their upcoming wedding be affected?

Behati Prinsloo said that she initially thought that her fiance Adam Levine was kidding when he called her about the news.

"Well he called me before, obviously, it came out, and he was like-you know Adam," the singer's fiancée Behati Prinsloo told Seth Meyers in his Late Night show.

"He was like, 'Babe, guess what ... no, no big deal, I got People's Sexiest Man Alive,'" Adam Levine's fiancee Behati Prinsloo said.

"It was pretty funny. I mean, yeah. 'Cause if you know him, I was like, 'I think People made a mistake," Behati Prinsloo joked, so it's apparent that her Adam Levine wedding won't exactly be affected.

Adam Levine is quite busy ahead of his wedding as he is set to be seen in the movie "Can a Song Save Your Life?" joining the star-studded cast led by Mark Rufallo and Keira Knightly.

Adam Levine and fiancee Behati Prinsloo started dating in April 2012, just days after splitting with model girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna. Behati Prinsloo recalled that the road toward an Adam Levine wedding was initially rocky as they separated in March 2013. They however reunited and were engaged four months later.

Adam Levine's fiancée Behati Prinsloo said their split was probably the best thing that happened to them because then singer was able to realize she's worth fighting for.

"But he's awesome and we're very happy and we just get each other and I think we realized that after a while," she said.

In a DailyMail report, Anne Vyalistsyna reportedly had no problem with Adam Levine's wedding to fiancée Behati Prinsloo. Anne V. and Adam Levine were an item for two years before the model left the singer.

When asked by E! to comment on Adam Levine's wedding to Behati Prinsloo, she said: ''Who cares? I'm such a believer in love. I will love him forever. He is such a wonderful guy. But we didn't work out.''
